Our boat building process involves both state-of-the-art techniques, as well as traditional craftsmanship. Let us share with you some of the history behind Sirocco.

Neil Webster is an avid Sydney boater who says he has owned some 30 pleasure boats since the age of 16. His long-term business partner David Sargent, who sailed 18ft skiffs professionally some years ago, brought the commercial brain to the table. And by good fortune Christopher Hodges, one of the UK’s most revered boat designers and boat
builders, had decided on a sea change and was living on Sydney’s northern beaches.The three men floated the idea of building a boat.

Some 18 months later they launched Sirocco Marine which already employs over 70 staff. While there was good fortune behind the birth of Sirocco Marine’s maiden boat, the Cabrio 30 is founded on immeasurable experience. The team is half way into production of the first Sirocco Express which is a 30’ half Cabin and they have also launched an inflatable boat product line contain RIBS, Air Hulls, and Slat Floor options.
