The only Buizen MK 11 48, hull No 26, Launched May 2005. Two (2) meter taller Carbon Fiber mast, 180Kg lighter then a normal mast the only Buizen with this mast. Custom Self Tacking Headsail by Rig Tech, new 2008 Spinnaker Pole carbon fiber, painted. Navtac hydraulic Vang. Harken MK III headsail furler. Doyle Fraser sails, including MPS, 2 spinnakers, (never used) and Trysail. Onan MDKAV 7KVA generator. Whispergen generator reduces the need to run the main generator at night when air-con or heating is needed thereby ensuring silence for all guests. Whispergen automatically tops up batteries either on a swing mooring or anchor to efficiently charge batteries & keep fridge/freezers/alarms charged up. If the Whispergen fails or the batteries drop below 50% the main generator starts automatically. Upgraded 5KV Mass Sine 24/5000 inverter system & batteries in relation to the Whispergen.
Custom built chilled water air-con by Webasto, with multiple vents, creating no rush of air. Each cabin individually controlled & ducted into a wet locker & guest bathroom.
